Mary McCormack, an American actor, is known for playing the lead role in TV series like The West Wing In Plain Sight as well as Loaded.' She is also popular for her film roles in Private Parts', 'Deep impact', 'True crime' and '1408'. McCormack was the daughter of the owner of an ice cream shop and a clinical psychologist. Her family has no connections to the entertainment industry. She was a student at Wardlaw-Hartridge School, and following the separation from her parents around the year 1990 then went on to Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut and eventually graduated with a bachelor's degree in comparative arts. Her career began when she was just 12 years old, and she appeared in the stage production "Amahl & The Night Visitors which was a Christmas-themed operetta. The actress continued to perform in theatre and ultimately bagged roles both on smaller and big screen. McCormack is today regarded as one Hollywood's most versatile performers. Michael Morris is her husband and she is mother to three daughters.
