Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira (born May 26, 1978) was born in the city of Campinas in Sao Paulo. She's an actress in Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira has been a part of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime since March 2020. She is the manager of the Assassination Witness as well as part of the GI-TOC's Multilateral Engagement team. The GI-TOC's research activities focus on assassinations, disappearances and other forms of violence in the context of illicit economies. Her interests in research also focus on the effects of organized criminality on human rights, as well as the impact of the laws and policies. Ana Paula received an LL.M.cum the laude award in International Law, from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. She has an LL.M. on Public Law, as well as an MBA in international relations at Fundacao Getulio Vargas. Ana Paula holds a Bachelor degree in magna cum laude Legal and Social Sciences by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She is a lawyer with a license, having practised at the law firm that focused on litigating in the public sector for more than four years. Her past experiences also included assisting roles at non-governmental organizations that are headquartered within Rio de Janeiro and Geneva.
